As already with Review from 03.06.2015 We have described our editorial car, a VW Golf 6 Variant 1.6 Tdi 4-Motion with a DTE pedal box, ex works with 105 PS. Below you will find installation instructions that may be helpful if you plan to do the same on your car.
Ps. By the way, a big “sorry” for the dirty footwell 😉
Step 2: on our Golf 6, the plastic cover had to be removed
Step 3: Now the plug is free and can be easily removed
Step 4: that's what the original plug looks like
Step 5: this plug of the DTE box must be connected to the original one
Step 6: it looks like this when connected
Step 7: now connect the second connector of the DTE box to the accelerator pedal
Step 8: then lay the cable of the control panel
Step 9: provide the control unit with the supplied adhesives
Step 10: do not forget to reinstall the plastic panel on the accelerator pedal
Step 11: Now attach the control panel to the desired position in the trolley
