Ford enters together with the bicycle manufacturer N+ New territory and introduces two cool e-bikes. These are inspired by two legendary vehicles from the Ford family. On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Mustang The manufacturer is launching an e-bike whose design and handling are reminiscent of the legendary sports car.
Ford Mustang & Bronco E-Bike
A highlight is the limited model “Mustang 60th Anniversary Edition", which is only available from Ford dealers. The e-bike is equipped with a 750 W hub motor that delivers a powerful torque of 85 Nm. With four power modes, it reaches a top speed of 28 miles per hour (approx. 45 km/h). The battery enables a range of up to 60 miles (approx. 97 km) and only needs 3,5 hours to charge.
Further features of Mustang E-Bike include Four-piston hydraulic brakes and Pirelli Angel GT Semi-SlicksThe color LCD panel provides real-time information on speed, range and battery life and is reminiscent of the cockpit display of the original Mustang.
The Bronco E-Bike: pure off-road adventure
And there is another Mustang E-Bike that is located on Bronco This is specially designed for off-road adventures and therefore has a robust chassis inspired by Bronco's GOAT (Goes Over Any Terrain). With a motocross-style saddle and Pirelli Scorpion Enduro Mtires, it is ready for any terrain. However, the technical data largely corresponds to that of the Mustang bike.
However, the prices are, as expected, high: The Mustang bike starts at $4.000, while the Bronco e-bike is available from $4.500. One small downside: An EU version with less performance is not planned. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to ride the two bikes as they significantly exceed the Pedelec guidelines.
