Mighty Part - Toyota Hilux Tonka Concept on 35 Zöllern

It brings the children's room onto the street! While the little ones have been playing with the Tonka T-Rex & Co. for years, Toyota is now bringing something for the older children - albeit not a whole series! The whole thing is called HiLux Tonka and looks phenomenal. With this impressive project, Toyota wants to "the continued potential and passion“Of the local design team and as you can see the result is more than successful. Completely rebuilt and significantly more powerful than the production vehicle, the Toyota Hilux Tonka concept makes dreams come true. The basis for this is the R5 double cabin, which is all around in a black and yellow paintwork. The 2,8 liter four-cylinder turbodiesel works under the hood, which now transmits its power to huge 35 inch off-road tires via high-performance axles and a high-performance chassis. As if the mighty tires weren't enough, there is also a 6-inch lift and so the big children, like the little ones, can play with them in every sandpit.

Other features include a beefy bonnet with power dome and air intake, new front and rear bumpers (even with a winch and fixed underride protection at the front), a new carbon tailgate with integrated spoiler + two air vents on the right and left, an additional LED strip in the front bumper, a large one Off-road LED lighting on the roof and a modified loading area with removable tubular frames and various storage boxes, etc. So that there is no holding back in the water, the intake was moved to the height of the A-pillar and the Hilux Tonka should therefore hardly be able to be stopped be. If we get more information about the modifications to the Tonka concept, there is of course, as always, an update for this report. It is best if you subscribe to our feed and if there is anything new you will be informed immediately. We hope you enjoy looking at the pictures. (photo/s + video: Toyota)
