Suction station & wiping function: the Ultenic T10 vacuum robot!

A good vacuum robot can also be inexpensive and at the same time economically be! Or maybe not? We wanted to know. The Ultenic T10 there is with newest navigation technology and handier Suction station for just about 400 €. So the portable vacuum cleaner comes with a big Suction station equipped, which sucks the small dust container inside the device empty. The station has one 4,5 liter bag integrated, that's enough for about two months of dust and dirt. And unpacking and installing the device is extremely easy. The robot and the vacuum cleaner together need an area of about 35×50 cm, which is fine.

As a cool feature there is even one Remote Control while doing so, the device can also be controlled without a smartphone app. The WLAN connection only works on 2,4 instead of 5,0 GHz, but the T10 has no problems with dual networking on both frequencies. In the middle is "under the sheet metal' (plastic cladding) a medium sized one rotary brush. The chassis easily copes with higher sills and thick carpets. From above shows the typical lidar radar dome, in which the flat metrology is located.

The configuration of the app and vacuum cleaner is simple and uncomplicated and everything can also be set in German. If you want, you can even playfully see the robot during the "first inspection" of the apartment in the App to accompany. Then you can see how the radar measures the rooms exactly. The T10 didn't hit any walls in our test and tried to stay out of various navigation traps. And you can also follow the cleaning paths in the app during cleaning. The advantages are apparent: The T10 does not scratch furniture or skirting boards and never gets stuck in our test. Also, he always returns safely to base. And if there are too many things lying or standing around (e.g. many chair legs), then the T10 avoids the area directly. We think that's a good thing, because it means there aren't any chair legs being pushed back and forth, and it doesn't end up in a dead-end street from which it might not be able to find a way out. the suction can be regulated individually. For a large apartment, the lithium-ion battery from LG with a capacity of 5200 mAh also loose. The T10 has one brushless motor and so it runs wear-free.

Vacuum and wet clean at the same time!

The T10 has one wipe mode integrated, because the dust collector also acts as a kind of Water tank. If you want to use the wiping function, the tank must be filled and clicked in. And you can even water cleaning supplies Add. Then turn on the tank wiper fleece attached with Velcro. After that, the robot moves differently than when vacuuming. But don't expect too much cleaning effect. A dried-out stain (ketchup, jam, etc.) is not really removed in this way. But that should be clear. But the floor is wiped with a damp cloth, which is particularly the case in southern regions with high temperatures, tiled floors and thus a lot of dust is a real plus.

Furthermore, you can also restricted areas be stored on the navigation map in the app, whereby the T10 in our test anyway all "Problem areas“ ignored and this was therefore not necessary. Also, the rooms on the map named and the robot can even send itself by voice command move there. However, if you use the built-in timer use to automatically "send the robot to work", you actually do not need this function. As with all vacuum cleaners of this type, you should always clean the brush regularly. Almost everything is there detachable and can be disassembled, so that any hair etc. can also be easily removed at the end of the roll. In addition, the robust suffer brush rollers not so under long hair like simple rubber rollers, which even tend to be cut through by fabric fibers.

With the Ultenic T10, efficiency is a top priority!

The T10 convinces primarily by the fact that it does its job efficient done and always back to his station returns. On the plus side, it just does its job and you hardly notice it. In addition, there is the large extraction station, which allows the device to work almost autonomously for many days at a time. In terms of overall performance, the T10 is at least as reliable as much more expensive branded devices. However, the combination of lidar and extractor is never really cheap. But the promotional price of only €400 is a real bargain that you can't go wrong with.
