In early November 2018 has tuners ABT Sportsline the first changes for the Audi Q8 presented. For the model variant 50TDI with the VW EA897evo2 six-cylinder, there was an additional control unit "ABT Engine Control" a leap in performance on 330 PS & 650 NM. Compared to the series with 286 PS & 600 Nm a quite considerable value that brings the diesel to the level of the powerful 55TFSI. Various wheel sets in 22 inches were already available (ABT FR & GR) as well as small applications for the interior. And from now on there is also a small aerodynamic kit and 23 Zöller for the Ingolstadt. The white painted presentation vehicle shows off with ABT front apron attachment including front sash and air intake panels and there is also something new for the rear. Here is a rear apron set with rear apron insert and fins available and who would like to install a small spoiler lip and a roof spoiler.

The ABT emblems and the black Audi rings provide skilful accents. And of course this copy also received its own wheelset. The pictures show the 10 × 22 inch forged wheels of the type ABT SPORT GR which are available with a strongly concave rim base in matt black and a diamond-turned surface, or in glossy black with a diamond-turned rim flange. Alternatively, there is also the ABT FR in mystic black with front-polished double struts for the Q8 or, as can be seen in the video below, the 23-inch ABT-HR model. So that the wheel set fits perfectly in the wheel arch and the Q8 becomes even sportier, ABT Level Control (electronic lowering) that the standard air suspension brings the body closer to the road by a few millimeters (on request up to 70mm).

And in the interior, there is now something extra besides the ABT start-stop switch cap in noble metal optics and the ABT door entry lighting. Now available is an ultra-smart dash panel insert and seat frame covers made of carbon fiber. This is to further highlight the sportiness of the Q8. All in all, the ABT Sportsline Q8 is much more muscular than the series, which we really like. If we receive more information in a timely manner, there is of course as always an update for this report.
