The boys of Emory Motorsports have done something unique. A classic 1964 Porsche 356 Coupe with all-wheel drive 911. It is in the sense but no Restomod Project but one every timer. Emory Motorsports has namely not The 356er somehow missed the four-wheel drive of the 911, but rather took a 1990 Porsche 911 C4S from the 964 series and gave it the 356C case. Quite similar to that Piper Motorsport Mercedes 190E based on a C63 AMG (W204), The four-wheel drive was the customer's biggest request and of course the company came to this complex task.

The proud owner simply wanted a stylish way to ride a variety of winter slopes with an 356, regardless of the weather. The project took a whopping 4 years to complete, but the result speaks for itself. The original suspension points of the 911 were maintained and in order to use them had to be cut, among other things, the center tunnel. In addition, the body of the 356 is also slightly changed to fit the wider track of the 911. What remains is the standard five-speed gearbox of the 911, which was, however, coupled to a differential gearbox. The driver now has the option of manually varying the power between the front and rear axles.

The complex transformation hardly shows itself visually. The 16 × 7 inch steel rims are powder-coated in black and equipped with winter tires and behind them is the standard brake system of the 964. The brake system is also necessary because after all, there is the Emory-Rothsport "Outlaw-4" performance level for the 356 which has been completely rebuilt Includes four cylinder engine with aluminum block. This develops approx. 200 hp, which should be more than sufficient considering the approx. 1.000 kg curb weight. The contact with the road is made by an adjustable KW coilover kit, which also explains the subtle lowering. On the outside, the 356 has a cool roof rack, there were rally headlights on the bonnet and yellow main headlights.

For this purpose, you have removed the bumper front and rear and also the silver strap to open the boot lid is no longer visible. Incidentally, the lack of right-hand side mirrors was quite normal in the year 1964. Finally, the body is wrapped in an elegant graphite blue metallic and completes the visual appearance impressively. And that can also be seen Interior, This is equipped with green fabric, green bucket seats and a sports steering wheel. Here, too, everything has been revalued down to the last detail, however, the typical style of 356 is still present. If we receive more information soon there is of course an update for this report.
