Our “Self-made / User Cars” category is growing again 😉 From the Bimmer Post Forum We get pictures of a super chic BMW M3 F80 sedan which has been provided ex works with a custom finish in Atlantis blue. The vehicle was subtly, but quite expensive, modified and of course we can not withhold the spectacular pictures. Almost all of the changes were taken from the pictures and so we ask for your understanding that not every detail should be correct.
The M3 was set to a set of HRE Performance Wheels alloy wheels of the type HRE 300 (20 × 8.5 and 20 × 10.5) with a dark gray rim star and a high gloss varnished rim well with the eye-catching paint harmonize. Equipped is the new wheel set with tires of the type Michelin Pilot Super Sport and thanks to a significant lowering, using KW coilover variant 3, the wheelset sits optimally in the wheel arch.
And a few new aerodynamic parts were installed and so the M3 got a carbon front splitter, carbon air inlets in the bumper, a set of black kidneys and gills from the M-Performance Parts shelf, approaches for the side skirts and a lot of details on the front Rear. Here a subtle spoiler lip was installed for the tailgate, the bumper was fitted with a sporty rear diffuser, a black M3 emblem was installed and the standard reflectors were replaced with covers painted in the color of the car.
The front bumper still got painted side markings and the absolute highlight in our opinion is the M4 GTS Style bonnet with the well-known Powerdome and the additional large air opening. Rounding out the appearance of the facelift headlights but got a black inlay and thus stand out from the series. With high probability there was also an increase in performance for the straight-six BiTurbo and if you look closely you can also see that a sports exhaust system with high-quality carbon tailpipes is installed.
