It's been some time since we got from the Australian tuner Heasman Steering have heard something but now comes a new vehicle. A subtle, but still quite extensive, rebuilt Audi R8 as a coupe. The Ingolstadt got the complete tuning program which means that both a body kit, new alloy wheels, a lowering and also a sports exhaust system have found their place. Let's start with the new aerodynamic parts. Here one decided for that VRS carbon aerodynamics program from the American tuner Vorsteiner who missed the R8 on the front bumper with a subtle spoiler lip. The component complements the factory bumper perfectly and is neither intrusive nor exaggerated. The same applies to the carbon rear diffuser.

Although this is much more aggressive than the factory built example, but here Vorsteiner has found a good compromise of sportiness and restraint. And it looks pretty much the same with the fixed carbon rear wing. At the same time, it is the most striking component and is also available in an identical design for the Lamborghini Huracan. Especially in combination with the white livery of the vehicle, the body kit is very successful. And the same applies to the rims. Also here you have looked on the shelf of Vorsteiner and built the type 001 in subtle gold tone. So that the wheelset sits consistently in the wheel arch and the R8 gets the last bit of dynamics out there was a set of lowering springs.

Height-adjustable VRS sport springs from H&R are installed. And finally, after the V10 engine, you also help to achieve an adequate soundscape. Heasman installs a sports exhaust system from the manufacturer FI Exhaust which has a flap function. We don't have any more details about the R8 from Canada at the moment. If we receive timely information, possibly about a built-in increase in performance, there will of course be an update for this report, as always.
