Just why? BMW E39 M5 conversion with E60 front & rear

Why do you do that? If you were to ask BMW enthusiasts which generation of the M5 was the best, then a large part would probably say - the E39. We see it that way because of the balance of the M5 (E39S, 1998-2003) with 400 hp S62B50 V8 vacuum cleaner (DOHC valve control and double VANOS technology) In our opinion, none of the 5 other generations comes close. Especially the extremely inconspicuous look is still unmatched by many M5 fans and so the successor as E60 / E61 (2005-2010) with a high-revving V10 engine (S85B50) and the "Chris Bangle look", which took some getting used to, had a hard time asserting itself. In the end, however, the V10, the 7-speed SMG Drivelogic (“sequential M transmission”) and the heavy acceleration values ensured that the M5 generation (E60 / 61) was the most successful ever with almost 21.000 vehicles sold.

But why take an E39 M5 and miss the look of an E60 M5? The popular look of the E39 M5 now carries the unpopular face of an E60 M5 Limo and the less popular V8 drives this pseudo-E60 M5. Why not exactly the other way around? If at all, the simple design of the E39 M5 should be coupled with the fantastic V10, right? So E39 front and rear to the E60! Ok, in combination with the original M double-spoke 167 rims from the M6, this E39 somehow even looks halfway successful, even if the slim front fenders and the rounded-looking tailgate expose the conversion. The vehicle was recently advertised on a large advertising portal for an insane 35.000 € and if you are really interested, you should search for "ORIGINAL BMW M5 - BEST CONDITION - CUP WINNER - BRACHIAL PERFORMANCE" or item number 906726774.
