And once again the rumor mill is simmering - will there be an M2020 Touring based on the G3 in 21? Since the first M3 (E30), BMW fans have hoped in vain for the potent touring. The British AutoCar Now, however, wants to know about a BMW 3er Touring based on the new G21. Is this the first M30 Touring built in 3 years after the first M3? Finally, apart from Alpina, there would be competition with the Audi RS4 Avant or the Mercedes-AMG C63 T-model. However, we believe that only when it is officially confirmed! After all, there have been discussions with every new model generation of the M3 so far. And those who do not want to wait so long either take an outrageous amount of money in their hands and build the current F31 to the real M3, or make it like the owner of this 320d F31 and optically approaches the M3.

Much of the approach is taken by the optional M-Sport package with M-Performance Parts and the rest is skilfully set details. The highlight of the modifications is the ZP.06 Deep Concave wheelset in 20 inch, which sits perfectly in the wheel arch thanks to the KW variant 1 coilover suspension. It comes in the classic Hyper Silver and in the dimensions 8,5 × 20 inches ET35 front and 10 × 20 inches ET45 back. The new rims are fitted with tires in the format 235 / 35R20 and 265 / 30R20. Another highlight is the Vollfolierung in Dark Gray Metallic Matt which in combination with a disc tints and darkened taillights ensures an aggressive appearance. Apart from the vinyl dress, the body was donated only small modifications. There are carbon inlets for the front apron, the typical black double-ridge kidney and inserts for the M3 / M4-look fenders, carbon mirror caps and some high-quality tuning parts from the M-Performance rack.

Here sill swords, a roof spoiler, a sporty rear diffuser and new exhaust trims were installed. And the interior has also been skillfully changed. The steering wheel and the automatic selector lever from the M Sport package are installed, and the LED door sills and floor mats also come directly from the optional BMW range. Small details such as new speedometer and air conditioning lighting round off the Touring's cab. And finally there was also an increase in performance via chip tuning to 235 PS & 450 Nm. It harmonizes with a K&N air filter and an active sound exhaust system from Kat. If we receive information on further changes in a timely manner, there is of course an update for this report.
