So slowly but surely, the performance increases for the brand new M5 F90 come on the market. As far as we knew Gorilla Performance in MANHART the first tuner with a performance-enhanced F90 and now pulls the German company speed Buster after. And Speed-Buster is also showing the most powerful version to date. The at least 600 HP and 750 Nm strong 4,4 liter twin-turbo V8 of the M5 shakes a fabulous 747 HP / 549 kW and 875 Nm from its sleeve after installing the “SPEEDBUSTER CTRS” box. The chip tuning box has vehicle-specific parameters and is clamped in front of the engine control unit using multi-channel technology. Speedbuster speaks of an increase in performance by 147 PS & 125 NM. However, we would like to note something at this point.
Almost every standard F90 M5 has been tested for power measurements (klick, klick) already measured in the range of 700 PS and with a relatively high probability this will also have been the case with the Speedbuster vehicle. Nevertheless, that doesn't change the fact that with 747 PS & 875 NM torque the Speedbuster M5 F90 is currently the most powerful M5 of the new generation known to us and of course it should not reduce the performance of Speedbuster. Incidentally, the optional accelerator pedal tuning GP5 PedalBOX is also available for the 1 Series, which is even supplied with a free APP as the GP1 PedalAPP version. If we receive a few new acceleration values for the Speedbuster M5 in the near future, there is of course an update for this report.
