Dodge announced the days that the 2018 Dodge Durango will receive a number of individual modifications from its in-house tuner Mopar this year. Although there will not be any concrete changes to the 475 PS HEMI V8, a few skilfully implemented modifications could still lead to a small increase in performance towards 500 PS. Two different sports exhaust systems, which naturally provide for a sound-rich soundscape, but also give the engine one or the other horsepower, play a large part in this. All upgrades are available for the Durango R / T as well as the SRT. While the sports exhaust system for the R / T can already be ordered, the system for the SRT is expected next spring. And there is also a discreet lowering because Mopar offers sport springs to lower the body by 15 mm.
As a side effect, the springs provide a much more agile handling and less rolling movements. Optically, the Mopar Durango can stand out from the standard model with two stripes over the entire vehicle, leaving a bit of a Viper flair. The stripes will be available in five different colors so there should be something for everyone. Individually it goes on request in the interior too because here Dodge offers through the SRT Interior Appearance Group refined dashboard, a soft-touch headliner and various accent colors and carbon applications.
