Single piece - transformation from Ferrari 488 GT3 to P80 / C

Anyone who believes that a really extreme vehicle can only come from one tuner is wrong. With the P80 / C (2019) Prototipo unique piece, Ferrari is showing the most extreme "special project" in the company's history, which was founded in 1947. It is an exclusive specimen that was created as an homage to the successful Ferrari 330 P3 / P4 and the Dino 206 S. With a development time of over 4 years, the P80 / C based on the 488 GT3 racing car without road approval comes to the happy long-term Ferrari customer. The difference to the 488 GTB is the 50mm longer wheelbase, which allows for a lot of details. From the front, the P80 / C is extremely poisonous because, similar to the FXX K, it has particularly narrow light slits that the layman would probably mistake for air inlets at first glance.

The particularly flat design is skillfully underlined by the narrow windshield and the apparently seamless side windows. Something similar we have recently on Bugatti La Voiture Noire seen. The rear view is typical of a race car because here the P80 / C shows itself with a huge fixed rear wing and a huge rear diffuser. And in the style of the front headlights, the rear lights with LED technology are also very narrow. The body, which has a lot in common with the 330 P3 / P4 and 250 LM Berlinetta racing vehicles, is made entirely of carbon and so the double-charged V8 naturally has little trouble. The Italian is of course painted in the color "Rosso Vero" and it is even available with two different specs.

For the racetrack, the so-called “racing set-up” with the aforementioned carbon rear wing and 18-inch central locking rims, if the P80 / C is only to be admired, the “Exhibition Package” is used. Here the aero features are reduced to the essentials and the Italian stands on a 21-inch wheel set. In the interior, on the other hand, there is much less new compared to the 488 GT3. The spacious sports seats are wrapped in blue Alcantara and are reminiscent of the spartan seating in the 250 LM. The rest is 488 GT3.
