Hardly presented and already lowered! For the brand new 2018 generation of one of the most built sports cars in the world, the Ford Mustang, the H&R professionals already have sporty suspension components in their range. After all, up to 450 hp want to be consistently brought onto the road and the Pony factory design still offers potential for improvement. This is exactly why H&R already has several options for owners of the Ford Mustang for different requirements and budgets. It starts with the H&R sport springs, which are the entry-level product into the H&R world. They have been precisely matched to the dampers of the AMI. After installation, the vehicle's center of gravity is lowered by approx. 30mm and this is also linked to a more direct turn-in, because the inclination of the body in curves driven at high speed is noticeably reduced. However, the engineers at H&R were not particularly enthusiastic about the Mustang's hard rear axle due to the damping and developed a second variant. This not only has sport springs, but also more comfortably coordinated, rear H&R shock absorbers. This significantly improves driving comfort and the idiosyncratic "trampling" is reduced. This gives the rear axle more grip. If that's not enough, H&R has developed a monotube coilover kit.

Thanks to the infinitely variable adjustment range, the Mustang can lower it between approx. 25 to 40 millimeters at the front and approx. 30 to 50 millimeters at the rear axle. As a result, the AMI gets a further plus in driving dynamics and a very self-confident look. The next step on the way to the ideal Mustang suspension comes in the form of H&R sport stabilizers. They impress with their significantly larger diameter compared to their series counterparts. They can be ordered either exclusively for the front axle (34mm diameter, Item No. 33779-1) or as a pair for both axles (VA 34mm diameter, HA 25mm diameter, Item No. 33779-2). The anti-roll bars significantly reduce the body roll in fast corners and, thanks to precision-forged ends, can also be adjusted 3 times at the front and 2 times at the rear axle. Incidentally, the stabilizers can also be combined with the standard chassis, provided that only a tightening is desired and no lowering. The H&R range is visually perfected by means of "Trak +" wheel spacers, which are made of high-tensile aluminum and are available in different dimensions. They ensure that accessory and series wheels are aligned to the wheel arch edges with millimeter precision. All H&R components are "Made in Germany" and are always supplied with the required parts certificates.
