Here comes the latest prank from British tuner Kahn Design. True to the motto - "the road is my catwalk“- Kahn brings the project Kahn Range Rover Velar 2.0 D240 R-Dynamic S- Signature edition on the asphalt. The chic Velar, which is placed between the Evoque and Range Rover Sport, has been subtly but clearly modified by Kahn Design. The basis for the conversion is pretty much the opposite of the planned Velar SVR in the form of the small D240 with four-cylinder diesel (two-liter biturbo). At the factory, however, the engine still delivers a remarkable 240 PS & 500 MM which is enough to accelerate to 7,3 km / h in just 100 seconds.
The most noticeable feature of the changes on the outside are definitely the in-house RS600 rims that fill the wheel arches in the dimensions 22 inches in a matt pearl gray finish. And the SUV owes its significantly sportier look to a subtle lowering that Kahn Design achieves with a new sports suspension. On the bonnet and tailgate there is now the obligatory "Kahn" lettering that every refined vehicle receives after a visit to Bradford (United Kingdom). The tuner put the main focus of the entire project on the interior.
Here you create a completely new cabin with significantly higher quality materials compared to the series. All seats have been upholstered with new leather in the "herringbone design" and convince with a black / beige color combination and filigree seams. In addition, the dashboard, the center armrest and the door panels were covered with high-quality nappa leather, which is also based on the design of the seats. The subtle tuning program on the outside as well as the extensive changes on the inside make this Velar a unique piece that can currently be purchased directly from Kahn Design at a price of £ 61.995.
We are curious when exactly the production version of the Range Rover Velar SVR will appear and whether Kahn Design will take on the future top model.
