Mercedes finally has the Sprinter as a 4 × 4 variant with an electronically switchable 4ETS all-wheel drive system (distributed in the ratio 35: 64 between front and rear axle) at the beginning. The brand new model, the company La Strada now buttoned and presented with the "Regent S" an off-road variant of a camper Van's. With 11 cm more ground clearance ahead and 8 cm back are the staid campgrounds history. Not enough? The company also has an 163 or 190 PS variant with permanent four-wheel drive and off-road reduction from the all-wheel specialist Oberaigner. Apart from smart alloy wheels and off-road tires, relatively little has been done on the outside. However, the interior has changed completely and can be put together individually using 80 fabric and leather variants. There are various wood decors and also the exterior finish is individual on request. The interior of the Sprinter is designed for two people, and the head height is especially noticeable above the cab seats.

There is a sliding bench that can be redesigned for residential use and has two three-point belts. Rear there is a high-quality kitchen, a 65 liter refrigerator, a three-burner gas stove with piezoelectric igniter, various hanging cabinets and several large drawers for all important utensils. Many small details like a curtain for the separation of living room and sleeping area (with bath and bed), the wardrobe, the two drawers under the sleeping landscape and of course the space-saving two wing doors at the rear complete the extremely successful concept. If we receive timely information on further details, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed if yours is just ours Feed subscribe to. About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
