Who still needs the Porsche Taycan? The former Mission E Concept will be launched in 2019 and will bring over 600 hp and a typically futuristic look. But what if it can be over “700 hp” in combination with an undisputed 911 look? This is exactly what you could see at the last 2018 SEMA Auto Show and the team from was primarily responsible for this breathtaking project Street Fighters LA. They grabbed a Porsche 911 coupe from 1977 and replaced the air-cooled six-cylinder Boxer engine with a Tesla electric unit. To make matters worse, there was also a RWB widebody kit. And that's exactly what we start with.

As you know, behind the phenomenal Rough world term Conversions of the Japanese Akira Nakai crafted, and in combination with at least one rod of cigarettes per vehicle, which creates legendary ELFER (we reported several times). And that was also the case with this vehicle and so also has RWB with Tesla drive on the 911 Akira The extensive body kit installed in laborious manual work. It is particularly characterized by the fender flares which are fastened with exposed screwed connections. There was a customized front bumper including front spoiler and the rear apron and the large Ducktail spoiler lip are from the Japanese tuner.

In contrast to many other Rauh-Welt conversions, a large rear wing was deliberately omitted this time, but the spoiler lip was used to match the subtle style of the vehicle. And of course there are countless small details on this 911 that only become apparent at second glance. We would like to mention the TRE Motorsport 911R taillights or the 9Eleven front headlights. The entire body is painted in the white of the Porsche 356. In our opinion, the visual highlight of the vehicle is the multi-part, chrome-plated BBS RS wheel set with golden screw connections. It is equipped with Toyo Proxes R888R tires that are a hefty 315 mm wide on the rear axle.

on the rear wheels arrive over 560 PS

So that the wheel set sits perfectly in the wheel arch, and the 911 also gets a contemporary road holding, there was still a fully adjustable GT3 Elephant Racing coilover suspension. And that is sorely needed. As mentioned at the beginning of the penalty got a good 700 PS strong Tesla electric engine missed the rear wheels still generates 565 PS. Thus, this Rauh world penalty may well be the strongest ever. Street Fighters LA. points out that in terms of technology, apart from an 930 rear axle, almost everything can be installed on the original mounting points of the 911. Thus one can, as with the Jaguar E-type ZeroSo even a 911 without radical changes to electric drive convert. A value retention is guaranteed because everything can be retrofitted in an emergency.

Engine conversion almost plug & play

By the way, SteetFighters has, among other things, help from the team for the restoration of the bodywork Pelican Parts obtain. And there was also help with the interior. There is plenty of leather and Alcantara for the seats in the Burberry check style and the fully chromed roll cage was worked hand in hand with other tuners. The 911 also got new round instruments in retro style and we can't really understand the still installed rev counter up to 18.000 revolutions in the E-RWB. If we receive more details about the individual piece in a timely manner, there is of course, as always, an update for this report. It is best if you subscribe to our feed and if there is anything new you will be informed immediately. We hope you enjoy looking at the pictures. (Photos: Street Fighters LA., @richardlephoto, etc.)
