Can it be a bit crazier? Then we have the ultimate vehicle here! It is the car of Adonis from South Africa which is known as an absolute Volkswagen enthusiast. He has built a VW Beetle to play his strengths especially in various drag races. And of course there was no way to remove the 50 PS engine from VW over. The basis is the way the so-called Super Beetle which is a bit longer than the normal one. However, he has grown only 2 cm what you can not really see with the naked eye. Biggest difference of the Super Beetle's is the modified McPherson front axle, there is a spare wheel in the trunk and the windshield is more curved than the normal. That to ... Now for the conversion! The absolute highlight is in the rear.
395 HP Speedhunters Super Beetle
Here there was a 2,0-liter EJ20 Subaru boxer engine which also received a significant increase in performance. With a new turbocharger, improved injectors, a larger intercooler and a custom built sports exhaust system, it goes high on 382 PS and thus easily on the level of a Jaguar F-Pace or Porsche Cayenne S Diesel, But just with significantly less weight! Of the Speed Hunters Beetle The Beetle was given a completely new chassis with specially made dampers and H&R springs and is therefore significantly lower than the series. For the wheel set, Adonis opted for BiColor-BBS rims with semi-slick tires, which are based on the paintwork of the body.
BBS alloy wheels and slicks
A braking system from BMW on the front axle ensures a species-appropriate deceleration and the rear axle is equipped with a modified VW brake. The body is "relatively" decently modified. Here the fenders were spread all around, there is a distinctive spoiler lip and Adonis only applied much thicker at the rear. Here he built a huge rear spoiler that generates a lot of downforce at high speeds. Small details such as the black taillights, the lens headlights at the front and the cool paintwork with Speedhunters lettering round off the visual appearance. And the interior? Also here is everything different! There are high-quality leather bucket seats with Momo racing straps, a perfectly adapted roll cage and a special drift handbrake.

Our highlight in the interior is definitely the redesigned dashboard with digital display and modern additional instruments. And even the small sports steering wheel with 12 clock mark is a real eye-catcher in the Beetle. Countless other details such as a start button, an emergency stop button and the cool side windows with direct connection to the air supply complete the unique piece impressively.
