The front and rear have also been changed, but one thing has not changed with the facelift: like the Edge or the Kuga, the new generation of EcoSport models is also extremely long-legged. Not only do we see it that way, but the suspension experts at H&R too. After the Edge and Kuga, H&R now also has tailor-made sport springs in its range for EcoSport. The SUV, which appears much too “long-legged”, appears significantly lower with the springs of the Sauerland engineers and also has a sportier gait.
The H&R high-performance components are perfectly matched to the chassis layout of the small crossover and ensure a sporty tightening of the chassis, which significantly reduces the side tilt of the SUV, especially when cornering. This also results in extremely precise steering behavior that can be felt in every curve. The H&R sport springs lower the “stilty” EcoSport on the front axle by around 40 millimeters and the space in the wheel arches is reduced by 35 millimeters on the rear axle. This means that the beautiful light alloy wheels stand in the wheel arch in a strikingly self-confident manner.
