With the new Mégane RS, the Renault Motorsport department is setting another exclamation mark on the subject of “compact, toxic and Made in France”. The most popular model of French civil stripes has it all behind the exhibited fenders! 280PS, big cheeks and the next ring record are set. As a precaution, the rest of the work is done by the H&R suspension professionals with a tailor-made set of sport springs. Thanks to the reduced ground clearance (approx. 35 millimeters at the front and rear), the wheels now fit perfectly in their homes. And according to the motto “Allez les bleus”, the black Mégane is now even faster around the corner.

In addition, the steering behavior is precisely fine-tuned and the body roll is reduced again in fast corners. Nevertheless, with the skilful coordination of the sport springs with the special RS shock absorbers (with hydraulic end stops), H&R ensures undiminished driving comfort that is suitable for long journeys. H&R Trak + wheel spacers promise further customization in terms of driving dynamics and optics, with which series and retrofit wheels can be aligned with millimeter precision on the edges of the wheel arches. All H&R products are 100% Made in Germany and are always delivered with the required parts certificates

About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
