Hard to believe that the Porsche 911 series 991 has been on the market since 2011. Time so that the new penalty comes. The model year 2019 (type 992) will be officially presented in the late summer of this year and we are looking forward to it. It is clear that the eighth generation on the new sports car platform (then comes the new R8 and the successor to the Aventador) will be built by Porsche and will come with two plug-in hybrid models. "Man" can of course be particularly excited about the new Turbo S, which will probably come with a new 8-speed PDK and at least 620 hp. In terms of price, however, nothing will change below € 210.000.
Until then, Porsche has Traditionstuner Techart sort of a package laced farewell. Techart now offers this "Exclusive Performance Package GTsport" which is limited to 30 units. As expected, the body panels are made of high-quality carbon fiber and tested in the wind tunnel, underlining the factory-made lines perfectly. To improve the cooling system in the rear of the Elfers, there are new air outlet grille and air intake panels and a special intake air hood brings the kit. In addition, Techart donated the 991 a new front grill and filigree side skirts.
The rear apron is extended with a diffuser attachment and special lamellas and, in combination with a small roof spoiler, perfectly rounds off the rear view. The visual reference to the GTsport Kit is "GTsport 1 of 30" lettering on the doors. And on request, there is also a lot on the part of the performance, the suspension or the exhaust system. Immediately eye-catching are the ultra-light 20-inch Formula IV Race Bi-Color forged wheels, which, in combination with lowering thanks to the sports spring set, perfectly fill the wheel arches.
The GTsport package also brings the known power increase (TA 091 / T1.1) in the Turbo S which, by means of TECHART TECHTRONIC, brings the "S" from 580 PS to a proud 620PS & 830Nm (using overboost function 880 Nm) and thus to the level that the new 992 Turbo S should bring. The Techart Turbo S is acoustically noticeable with a high-quality sport exhaust system "Sport" which is equipped with an electronic valve control. And finally, there are also subtle changes to the interior. The biggest update is the classy 3-spoke sports steering wheel.
But even the small details such as the selector lever and drive mode switch in the color of your choice or the floor mat set with lettering »GTsport 1 of 30« make the difference. Little hook: For the Exclusive Performance Package GTsport Techart calculates whopping 29.911 Euro which does not yet include the installation costs. But something is always ...
