News from the team around SAD Custom from Japan. The latest creation that we encountered from the hallowed halls of SAD Custom Japan is an extremely modified Toyota Hiace which, as the Stinger 200HIACE with its Lamborghini look, makes extremely thick pants. To be honest, I'm not surprised, the tuners we know who have dealt with the mini-bus all rely on "extremo-optics" (example: Here) Also SAD Custom Japan follows this line and sets with its Lamborghini optics in my opinion even on it. We are familiar with a few details for tuning the Toyota Hiace. We have listed what we have learned in a small summary below for you.

(Photos: SAD Custom Japan)

These are the details we know:

  • unknown lowering (sport springs, coil springs or coilover !?)
  • darkened windows all around
  • Base: 2WD HiAce Van GL equipment
  • Cost about $ 4000
  • complete body kit (Lamborghini-inspired front bumper with LED daytime running lights, rear roof spoiler, side skirts, rear bumper with diffuser)
  • black (new) headlights, taillights and brake light
  • BARONE MC7 Forged wheels in an estimated 19 inches
  • Sport exhaust system in 4 tube optics (carbon tailpipes)
  • STINGER sticker all around
  • Wind deflectors on the front doors in black

His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
