ECD Automotive Design once again grabbed a Land Rover Defender and rebuilt it into a single piece. The project was created on the basis of the military and based on a D110. And of course there was again a thick V8 under the hood. This time even a particularly powerful unit with 565 PS. Specifically, it is an 6.2L LS3 V8 from the Chevrolet Corvette distributed with some modifications to the hardware, a chip tuning and a Borla performance sport exhaust system, the force using 6 automatic transmission (6L80E) on all four wheels. And of course, the vehicle was restored from the ground up and put back in the state of a new car. In addition, there was a Kahn Design widebody kit (Fender widening all around, further small details).

Warn Industries VR10 winch

In addition there was a modified Aircon front bumper including strong WARN winch and like all ECD vehicles, of course, also state-of-the-art LED headlamps front and rear (including bars) and in this vehicle even 6 pieces on the roof. 4 LED auxiliary lights are installed on the outer roll cage at the front, which is anchored to 6 points of the body, and two work lights are attached at the rear. Countless other details like the 20 inch big Kahn design Mondial Retro rims with BF Goodrich all-terrain T / A K02 tires, the grating on the rear side windows, the bumpers on the doors or even the varnish in Vulcan Gray Pearl with a satin finish round the visual appearance impressively. And it is just as impressive in the cabin. Here is the Defender with 4 Corbeau Racing seats (in front and in row two), a high-quality full leather interior, a Momo Jet sports steering wheel and even a new instrument cluster is installed.

Carbon interior trim and a lot of new technology

In addition, a few technical goodies such as the Alpine infotainment system with Apple Car Play, the JL Audio System with subwoofer & tweeters, air conditioning for the rear passengers and whoever wants can even lock the Defender remotely using the Viper remote lock system. Once again the guys from ECD Automotive Design have created an absolutely unique piece that is second to none and will make the owner happy for a long time. If we receive timely information on further changes not mentioned before, there will of course be an update for this report.
