You ask now for sure why we included in our headline the reference to the year 2018? Because we already had a Toyota 2016 Hiace from tuner Kuhl-Racing in the year 200 have reported which was also completely rebuilt and exuded typical Japanese tuning flair with a spacey body kit. And now comes the next box with a body kit that can be seen as a little "facelift". For 2018, the Hiace comes with a slightly modified front and rear bumpers, which are by no means more subtle or inconspicuous but have just received various changes to the design.
The revised version also comes with an additional spoiler lip at the front and also a modified radiator grille and a bonnet including an evil eye. The front is a little different here because the Hiace kept its large, angular headlights, which is not the case with the copy linked above. But the lights installed here have also been replaced by accessories with LED technology. And here, too, there were widened front and rear fenders, large extensions for the side skirts, a completely redesigned rear apron including an integrated diffuser and a striking roof spoiler.
Especially exaggerated, but somehow suited to the project, of course, the 4 pipe sports exhaust system with its blue-burnt tailpipes in which one would not tap on the factory 2,7l gasoline or 3,0l diesel but on a V8 BiTurbo with 600 PS but unfortunately only wishful thinking is. Also installed is a VERZ Wheels 5 spoke wheel set with black-painted rim star and chrome-plated rim beds that can be pushed into the wheel arches, down to the last millimeter, thanks to an Airride air suspension.
Of course, as a final highlight, we would also like to mention the extensive complete painting and the many small details such as the modified mirror caps, the chrome trim on the rear or the revised interior.
