For a good two years, there is now the second generation of the VW Tiguan. And after the tuner based in Mechernich mcchip-dkr already dedicated to the first generation it was only a matter of time before the current model was given a performance boost. This is exactly what has now happened and the basis for this is provided by the top model in the diesel series in the form of the Tiguan 2.0 TDI 4MOTION with CUAA biturbo four-cylinder and 239 hp / 500 Nm. Using new engine software (chip tuning) alone, mcchip has achieved a leap in performance to a whopping 300 PS & 550 NM, bringing the SCR BlueMotion Technology Tiguan far ahead of the currently most powerful petrol engine with 220 PS - TSI 2.0 engine (CHHB).
Please note that this is only for Stage 1, which means that changes to the hardware (turbocharger, cooling, intake, etc.) could probably lead to significantly more power. Apart from chiptuning we are not aware of any other modifications so we leave you alone with the pictures. 🙂 If we get some more information, there is of course an update for this report.
