Is he coming or is he not coming? The rumors surrounding a possible BMW Z4 Coupé based on the new G29 series are going strong. Finally, BMW has created with the 1998 introduced Z3 Coupe (E36 / 8) and the successor Z4 Coupe (E86) a not to be despised fanbase. And now, of course, waiting for a possible successor based on the G29 that was not allowed to go into series production with its predecessor E85. A J30 or G29 / 8 (or what's his name?) would be the perfect alternative to the new A90 Supra and in particular as the +500 PS M-Competition variant with the 3,0-liter twin-turbo in-line six from the new X3 M / X4 M, for many, a real alternative to the M2 Competition. We just thought about what the “new sneakers” might look like. A Z4 M40i Roadster serves as the basis, and we have given it an unmistakable coupe roof in the style of its predecessor. Of course, everything is a bit more modern and a bit based on the i8.
