No 30 minutes ago, here we have, with a report on Ferrari 458 Italia on VELOS Designwerk D5 rims, talked about that with a few modifications of the 458, at least visually, the 488 is hardly inferior in anything. And as if you had read the report immediately after publication, we have currently received images of a significantly modified 488 which impressively shows that the successor as a modified version has a lot ahead of a tuned 458. The American tuner put the vehicle on its wheels RDB LA car shop from Los Angeles in California. And while we're on the subject of “wheels”, we'd like to start with these too. A massive 5-spoke wheel set from Forgiato Wheels was installed and, more precisely, it is the Forgiato Classico-ECL type in matt black.

The dimensions of the rims are 21 inches at the front and 488 22 inches at the rear. Thanks to the wide spokes, you can still catch a glimpse of the large brake system with its yellow painted calipers and these serve not only the deceleration of the 488, but also the visual appearance as a colorful accent. So that the wheelset sits so consistently in the wheel well, of course, a lowering was installed, this is unfortunately not available to us at the moment. In addition, of course, the fulminant widebody kit is the highlight of the renovation. The components come from the Japanese manufacturer Liberty Walk and miss the 488 an absolutely extreme appearance. The LB Performance Widebodykit, with the striking open fittings, large fender flares all around, a carbon spoiler lip front, subtle carbon approaches to the side skirts, a large duck-tail carbon spoiler lip on the engine cover and a beefy rear diffuser of course also in carbon fiber visible.
A sports exhaust system was certainly installed so that the 3,9l F142M-V8 with its 670 PS can loudly release its power into the environment, but unfortunately we are not aware of any information about this at the moment. Even if for many it is certainly an absolute no-go to tackle a 488 with the "Flex" and cut out the wheel arches over a large area to make the extensions suitable, the end result can definitely be seen and who does not necessarily value the most resale lays he receives an absolutely spectacular vehicle after the conversion. If we get more information about the modifications to the 488 GTB, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report.
