From British tuners Kahn design comes shortly after that Widebody Range Rover Sports SVR Pace Car now the next vehicle with extensive modifications. The basis this time was the Mercedes-Benz X-Class W470 series (X350) on the part of Mercedes after only 2 years of production was again made the end. That's what the team has to do with the owner Afzal Kahn but did not stop to set up an extensive tuning program for the first Mercedes pickup in the company's history. And apart from the NoName grille we like the result relatively well. The missing Mercedes star, in the successful Panamericana-look grille, but otherwise ensures that the difference between a VW Amarok, a Nissan Navara or the Ford Ranger is present.

idiosyncratic: radiator grille without star

If you install a radiator grille without brand emblem on the aforementioned vehicles, it would be difficult for the first moment to recognize the X-Class. She looks as blank as we find. But of course the vehicle is not just the grille. Of course, this also includes the fender flares all around. These pull on both sides of the aprons front and back and come with no exposed screwing therefore. And the frames in the front apron around the air intakes are specially made by the British tuner for the Stuttgart pickup, but only at the second glance. Next, the X-Class has taken any chrome which is almost always a good idea on modern cars. These are still the discs darkened all around.

in-house Kahn Design 22 Zöller at the X-Class

The X-Class has the completely black look and only the new 22-inch in-house alloy wheels of the type G06 stand out in color. They come with a bi-color look with a polished front and matt black details, but are also available in other color combinations. Only the South Korean Roadstone tires in the 285/45 R22 format that we can then again not explain. Suppliers such as Bridgestone, Goodyear & Co. certainly have a few higher quality options on the shelf. In contrast, things are much less questionable in the cabin. Kahn Design has installed a completely new leather interior in black and red, which is particularly impressive with the contrasting seams and the elegant pattern.

Even the dashboard and the center armrest are covered with leather and enhance the interior significantly. Details like the Kahn Design badges in the backrests, as always, provide skilful accents. In contrast to the previous vehicles of Kahn Design, the X-Class is much more a matter of taste, but ultimately only the owner must be happy with it. If we receive more information about the changes in a timely manner, there is of course an update for this report.
