The silver caravans have always been from the manufacturer Airstream an eye-catcher. Especially in the 70s the Airstream Land Yacht trailers were popular and with their size of partly over 30 foot the Mercedes among the RVs. And up to date he has the brand new manufacturer Airstream Caravel 22 and Bambi presented for the year 2020. Both models are available with an axle in 16, 19, 21 and 22 Fuß and the variant Bambi replaces the former sports model series and is the entry-level model. Above that ranks the Caravel series that will most likely be in Europe.
Airstream Caravel 22 (2019)
The trailer in the well-known cigar shape comes with a large picture window, stone guard and robust aluminum bumpers outside. The Caravell 22 will be on display at the 2019 caravan salon in Dusseldorf (31 August to 8 September 2019), with an interior featuring a climate sky, multiple air outlets and significantly improved materials and technical equipment. He has 4 sleeping places, a separate shower cubicle and a toilet with flushing water. There are also amenities such as a large fridge, a gas cooker with 3 flames, an 24 inch LCD TV and a sound system. And outside there is even an awning. With 5,90 m length and 2,50 m width the Caravel 22 is generously dimensioned and therefore also 2080 kilograms heavy.

The permissible total weight is 2500 kg which means that it can be loaded via 400 kg. With a price of over 93.000 € including transport, customs, conversion to EU standards and 19% VAT, the Caravel 22 will be more exotic on campsites in this country.
