If you're looking for a real camping Dick ship, then the brand new EarthCruiser EXP, FX Expedition Vehicle with V8 is probably just in time. At least if at least 350.000 US dollars pose no problem. For the new EarthCruiser models, the renowned manufacturer of off-road expedition vehicles now offers the 2020 version of the EXP and FX, which are now powered by an 6,0-liter V8. For this purpose, the manufacturer uses a strong Allison gearbox, an in-house suspension and a significantly redesigned interior with even more space and functionality. The Mitsubishi Fuso-based expedition vehicles have received many improvements in the home.

There is more storage space, a completely new and extendable outdoor kitchen for outdoor cooking, access to the bathroom has been made more ergonomic and a new water recycling system with three different carbon filters is also on board. There is also a UV filter and its own fresh water tank with 84 gallons (320 liters) capacity. In addition, the maximum 720 amperes strong lithium energy storage helps the EXP and FX network-independent on the road and of course, more than just 2 people enjoy the trip. The double cabins can easily accommodate five adults or four adults and two children. And technically much has happened. And EarthCruiser has put together its own powertrain. This gives you control over the reduction ratios, gear ratio and rims and their tire compatibility. Fitting there is a modified axle ratio, the reduction gear is new and new Locking differentials as well as a stronger brake system are among the changes of the new model generation.

And to meet the new emission standards for diesel engines, the new EarthCruisers incorporate a Vortec V8 with GM technology that delivers torque to 300 PS and 490 Newton meters. The Allison 1000 transmission delivers power to a new EarthCruiser four-wheel drive system, delivering tireless off-road drive. If the environment gets even more complicated, the EarthCruiser helps with a two-speed transfer case that distributes power even better with the 4WD crawler gear. If you are back on paved roads later, the EarthCruiser can be switched to two-wheel drive and saves fuel. But of course, the 37 inch Toyo tires stay on Beadlock Rims in combination with the Dyna Trac axles with universal axle lengths for front and rear axle still clearly audible. One reason is the rough profile of the tires and of course the total weight of the EarthCruiser.
