2021 Edition models "CrossOver" from the manufacturer Hymer!

For years, Hymer GmbH & Co. KG has been relying on optional all-wheel drive in their vehicles for exciting off-road driving dynamics. In order to meet the increasing demand from customers, the traditional manufacturer is now offering two of its popular leisure vehicles as "CrossOver" edition models. The partially integrated Hymer ML-T 570 and the Camper Van Hymer Grand Canyon S based on Mercedes-Benz are thus given a special off-road upgrade with high-traction all-wheel drive as standard. An extremely extensive standard equipment including a solar system contributes to increasing the self-sufficiency to up to 10 days. Numerous visual highlights such as the all-terrain tires also underline the striking look of the vehicle. Combined with the usual Hymer comfort, the Hymer ML-T 570 and the Grand Canyon S in the "CrossOver" edition enable a special travel experience - even away from paved roads and fully equipped campsites.

Due to the independence that traveling with your own vehicle brings with it, more and more people are deciding to buy a motorhome or camper van. Pitches in the great outdoors and far away from classic camping areas are no longer uncommon. For such holiday projects, Hymer now offers the ML-T 570 and the Grand Canyon S as “CrossOver” edition models - with numerous standard equipment components for even more adventure and self-sufficiency.

The exterior design of the edition models based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is characterized by a striking off-road look with "CrossOver" design stickers. This is reinforced by the all-wheel drive as well as the 16-inch all-terrain tires and the LED light bar above the cab. A special exterior highlight of the ML-T: the spare wheel on the outer rear wall and the roof rails with rear ladder. In addition to their striking appearance, the CrossOver models have numerous technical refinements. The elevation by nine centimeters ensures better ground clearance in the field and reduces the risk of touchdown. The gear reduction of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter guarantees good traction even on inclines and declines - supported by the intelligent traction system 4ETS, which works with electronic instead of mechanical differential locks.

The characteristic design is continued in the interior in the form of the new anthracite-colored overhead locker doors and, in addition, in the Hymer ML-T 570 with a new gray table and counter decor. Practical nets under the overhead lockers ensure that everything is easily accessible and safely stored outside. Well thought-out details such as a tool set including a folding spade and an ax complete the edition models. In the area of ​​self-sufficiency, Hymer is consistently continuing the off-road concept: thanks to numerous equipment features, both vehicles can stand independently for up to 10 days all year round and with typical charging and consumption situations. An optional safe from Hymer Original Parts guarantees a plus in safety, even away from busy roads. It can be integrated into the passenger seat console of the Grand Canyon S and ML-T 570 and protects personal valuables with a steel housing and 3-bolt security lock.

For limitless off-road adventures: the ML-T 570 "CrossOver"

The partially integrated edition model makes no compromises in terms of comfort despite its off-road capability. The two lengthways single beds in the rear, including the disc spring sleeping system, can be converted into a large sleeping area with an additional cushion between the beds. The bathroom and kitchen are connected to the sleeping area. The latter offers plenty of space for provisions with a refrigerator with a capacity of 152 liters. The spacious L-shaped seating group and the Mercedes-Benz genuine comfort seats with integral look are located further forward in the vehicle. With the help of another upholstery element and the driver's seat, an additional sleeping option can be created in the front of the vehicle.

To further increase the independence of the ML-T 570 "CrossOver", the semi-integrated comes with a standard self-sufficient package. It includes a six kilowatt diesel heater with an electric immersion heater and an altitude kit so that the heater can also be used in higher parking spaces above 1.500 meters. A battery pack is also included, consisting of the HYMER Smart Battery System with two lithium batteries and an inverter. For the self-sufficient energy supply, the ML-T 570 "CrossOver" has a solar system with a capacity of two times 90 watts on the roof.

With the Grand Canyon S "CrossOver" you can travel even more independently

In the rear of the Hymer Grand Canyon S "CrossOver" is the sleeping area with high-quality plate spring frames and cold foam mattresses. The Upper Swabian manufacturer offers a pop-up roof as an option for additional beds. The preparation of fresh meals is easy thanks to the practical kitchen unit with 90 liter refrigerator including a freezer compartment and the extendable kitchen top. The Mercedes-Benz genuine comfort seats with integral look are also optionally available in leather. Like the ML-T 570 “CrossOver”, the Grand Canyon S also has a standard self-sufficiency package. In addition to the six-kilowatt diesel heater with an electric immersion heater and the height kit, there is a solar system with a capacity of 90 watts on the roof. The Hymer Smart Battery System, which combines the excellent performance of lithium batteries with the low costs of common lead batteries, ensures the best possible energy supply. The Mobicool cool box is also available as an option. This finds its place in the storage space pull-out on the rear bed and can be removed at any time if necessary.
