Has been manufacturing since 1994 Kirkham Motorsports from Provo, Utah (USA), in collaboration with Polish mechanics, dreamy Cobras as Continuation Cars. And one of these spectacular vehicles now stands up RM Sotheby's for sale. And one thing is for sure, this Cobra stands out from the rest! Because the 1965 Shelby 427 S / C Cobra from Kirkham Motorsports has a shell made out of it hand-stamped bronze. Instead of the otherwise used lightweight aluminum with a paint finish according to customer requirements, something else has been decided here. We already have vehicles from Kirkham brushed aluminum and Copper seen, but it should seem like a surface Bronze be. The CSX 4600 chassis was shaped by hand as always. And the result is extremely eye-catching. The vehicle was built with incredible attention to detail and forms the legendary 427 S / C Cobra perfect after. The 1965 Shelby 427 S / C Cobra supports the mirror-smooth body brushed racing stripes on the typical Powerdome hood with air inlet and also on the trunk lid, the stripes can be seen.

Mighty ones appear on both sides Stainless steel sidepipes and even one chrome-plated roll bar is installed behind the driver's seat. Although this stands out a little from the paintwork, it essentially fits perfectly with the many chrome details at the vehicle. And of course, the one-off item comes around the corner with the corresponding performance data. There's something going on under the hood 650 PS strong 427cubic V8 (7-liter) with fuel injection from the Carroll Shelby Engine Company. That is a Crate engine, in this case to a Five-speed manual is coupled. So with this vehicle you not only get the most dazzling Cobra replica of all, but there is also one OEM Cobra performance to. Incidentally, there are rims under the body Halibrand style with Goodyear Eagle tires and of course there is something behind it state-of-the-art sports suspension and a contemporary performance braking system.

And of course that too Cabin an absolute highlight. But it's much less dazzling here. Although the upper part of the dashboard is also bronze colored, but the rest is in Black contrasted and typical minimalist and thus contemporary. The Front of the dashboard is black leather, there are black ones Leather bucket seats, classically round Speed hat ads with Carroll Shelby signature and a Wooden steering wheel with aluminum spokes. Only the price can be described as a "small" drawback. The Cobra is on the RM Sotheby's website for 475.000 US Dollars listed. That is in combination with the original CSX serial number though not uncommon. PS: the following video shows one comparable vehicle.
