He is undeniably an icon of the American vehicle world. The Ford Bronco! From 1966 to 1996 built there was the two-door in 5. Generations until he vom Expedition was replaced. 2004 has then made Ford talk again with a Bronco concept car and since this year we know the new Bronco will be released 2020. And optionally even with four doors! This has never happened before. If you do not want to wait so long for the Maxlider Brothers of Maxlider Motors LLC possibly the perfect alternative. They have completely restored and rebuilt a first generation Ford Bronco. The absolute highlight is the fact that it now has 4 doors and therefore is probably unique. In addition, in good 4.000 working hours, the body has been extended by a good 23 inches to add the additional doors and 2 additional seats.
1966 Ford Bronco with 4 doors
The vehicle was in collaboration with MJR Industries built and is called by the tuners as "most exotic Bronco ever" designated. Most likely not an exaggeration. In order to achieve the extension, another vehicle was needed as a donor. In addition, the body was given individual bumpers from JD, there were riveted fender flares all around, a retro-look grille with ultra-modern LED headlights, a winch and even a full-size spare wheel at the rear. In addition to the completely rebuilt body including tubular steel roll bar, the engine is particularly worth mentioning.
670 PS V8 with supercharged power
There was a classic V8 with supercharging that sends a huge 670 hp to all four wheels. And in keeping with the style, this was not coupled to an automatic but to a six-speed manual transmission. And of course the chassis is completely new and state-of-the-art. It comes with Fox Racing dampers, Roush Parts, accessories from Wildhorses 4 × 4, Centech, MPT Custom Tunes, EPAS, Currie Industries and countless other suppliers. In addition, of course, the special off-road wheel set with BF Goodrich all-terrain tires and the fact that due to the significant elevation, there is probably no stopping the terrain. And as already mentioned, the open cabin is also completely individual.
The interior is also new
The six seats are covered with high-quality leather and the same applies to the dashboard or the door panels. The rest is painted in body color and left in the typical 60s Bronco style. This copy is probably a one-off part that definitely sweetens the wait for the official successor from Ford. If we receive timely information on further changes not mentioned before, there will of course be an update for this report.
