The ultimate legend on wheels? This is how you could describe this completely restored 1969 Dodge Charger R / T 440! You can't get more American muscle cars. And if we from tuningblog present such a vehicle, it is only because it has received modifications that clearly differentiate the classic from the production vehicle. After all, we are not concerned with the topic of classic cars, but with the topic of tuning or so-called restomods. And this model is definitely a restomod, as the state-of-the-art sports suspension with fully adjustable Koni-Classic dampers and polyurethane bushings proves. It ensures a driving feeling like in a current athlete and is of course combined with a dreamlike engine. There is a completely new 7,2 liter V8 engine under the hood of the R / T (Big block 440CI 4BBL) which, for example, ensures a proper propulsion due to a performance sports camshaft, a 4-cylinder carburettor from the Holley 770 Street Avenger series and a stainless steel exhaust from MagnaFlow.

The engine is coupled to a 727 three-speed automatic which, by means of specially made drive shafts, can mutate the brutal slaps at the rear into a smoking inferno at any time. BF Goodrich tires were specially installed in the front in the format 235/60 and in the rear there were 255/60 rollers which can be seen on the Magnum 500 rims in the format 15 × 8 inches. And this guarantees a proper start in a small drag race in the style of Dominic Toretto from the Fast & Furious series. It was he who finally made the Charger R / T a classic. Other important components are a new drive shaft, there was a completely new fuel system, a sports brake system with 11-inch (approx. 28 cm) disc brakes, the fuel pump is brand new and even a maintenance-free vehicle battery is installed.
Italian PANA leather interior
And this model not only has a new body, but is also in the condition of a new car in the cabin. The most important components here are a completely new insulation against annoying noises from outside, there was a brand new Italian PANA leather interior and a beautiful 3-spoke wooden steering wheel in XXL format is also installed. Countless other details such as the lovingly upgraded center console, the hand-made door panels and the modern air conditioning make the 69 Charger R / T so phenomenal and desirable.
