In 1969 Ford had to deal with one Mopar HEMI engine start in the NASCAR racing series. As is well known, this is an engine from the competition from Chrysler, and so it was decided to give the Mustang a fat one 7 liter V8 to donate to one Homologation vehicle to create for the road, so that you could start in NASCAR with your own engine. This homologation model was Boss 429 christened, and is one of the most legendary ponycars on the market today. That's why the Ford got one Stroker Kit with on the way that for the Displacement increase to 8,4 liters (514 ci) which makes the vehicle incredible 815 HP perform.
