Back to black - 1970 Cadillac Coupe DeVille Restomod!

Due to its positioning, Cadillac is certainly not a manufacturer who regularly throws new vehicles onto the market. In fact, there are currently only 6 models in the US product range. Most of them are SUVs and the principle seems to work too. As one of the first car brands in the world (Cadillac was founded in 1902) vehicles like the Cadillac Tonneau, the Runabout and current examples like the Escalade have made it into the history books. And in between there were countless copies that have made a name for themselves again and again. And one of them is the DeVille, which came out in 1958 and especially in the Collectors world is in great demand. Regardless of the model or condition! And one such DeVille is currently being advertised on an auction website and is for sale. It's a 1970 model year, so a late third generation. And it has been clearly modified and now impresses with its pitch black Fisher paintwork and sporty visual details.

The body no longer has door handles, there were modern headlights at the front and rear and also a chrome-plated 20-inch wheel set. Based on the black paintwork, the windows are also darkened and of course there is a thick V8 under the hood. Specifically, it is an original 472ci V8 in combination with a three-speed automatic and factory 375 hp. Of course, we mustn't forget the lowering and a lot has happened in the cabin too. Here the classic shows itself with a Fleetwood interior with 3-spoke sports steering wheel, new leather interior, dark red accents and of course a belt speedometer as well as the continuous row of seats in the front that was common at the time. If we get more information about the changes, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed of this if you simply do ours Feed subscribe to.
