Subtly refined - 1970 Chevrolet Nova as a "restomod"!

So-called "Restomods“Are more popular than ever. While the widebody kits from Liberty Walk, Pandem & Co. were able to celebrate their big breakthrough, but now more and more the revamped classics are gaining ground. And one of them is that Storm Trooper White (Yenko stinger) painted 1970 Chevrolet Nova. Specifically, it is a third-generation Nova that was built between 1967 and 1974 as a two-door coupe, three-door hatchback and four-door sedan. The current vehicle is due to be auctioned off at Mecum Auctions in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania next July and appears to be a Nova SS model. Unfortunately, not much is mentioned in the Mecum advert about the technical data.

However, the fact is that the Chevy underwent a complete restoration and then received a new Performance 355-CI-V8. Unfortunately, no further information regarding PS and torque is known. At that time, the standard Nova SS models with a 350 cubic inch engine had a displacement of 5,7 liters and an output of approx. 295 hp. The current vehicle will in any case be stronger if you consider the built-in Holley aluminum air intake, the Holley carburetor, the aluminum cooler or the GM belt system. As already mentioned, the body is shown in Storm Trooper White with black stripes and the Oldi stands on 18 and 20-inch rims with low-profile tires all around.

The QA1 coilover kit is also completely new and convinces with special "A-arms", KYB shock absorbers and other smaller details. The cabin is equipped with ProCar bucket seats and a completely new carpet, new door panels, a specially made console with new displays, an B&M selector lever for the automatic and a new sound system are installed.
