1970 Land Rover Series IIA from Himalaya and Taylor Stitch

This beautiful one 1970's Land Rover Series IIA as a Restomod comes from Taylor stitch from San Francisco and the tuner Himalayas. The vehicle is a jointly created cooperation project. As always, the Himalayan vehicle is complete restauriert and rebuilt been. In other words, the classic was completely dismantled into its individual parts and painstakingly worked down to the last screw manual work restauriert. All wear parts will be replaced or overhauled in the course of such a revision. And since it is a "Restomod project", many components are from the presence, or at least with the date of manufacture clearly after the construction of the vehicle itself. The basis is a pre-defender of the Series IIA from 1970, the Himalaya robbed the original engine and means 300TDI diesel generator and automatic transmission replaced from the 90s. There were also ultra-modern ones Disc brakes and even one Power Steering is built in. The spartan cabin impresses with a new one HiFi audio systemthat is discreet in the middle dashboard is hidden so as not to attract unnecessary attention.

And Taylor stitch? They related the Center console, the shift boot and the Seats in a bright Beigethat is perfect for Porsche vintage paintwork in Aga blue fits. The material was chosen waterproof and waxed suede and the loading area was equipped with a special Wool lined. There is also a specially made one Aluminum wooden steering wheel and there are others in the cabin as well Aluminum components.
