1971 Plymouth GTX Restomod with Fast and Furious airs!

We absolutely have to show you this beautiful restomod conversion. Specifically, it is a 1971 Plymouth GTX, as in Dominic Toretto drove in Fast & Furious. And the one-off was actually modified to look like Toretto's car now. The GTX is a Plymouth vehicle released in 1966. It was kept on the market until 1971 and around 44.000 were sold during that time. In that short period of time there were three different generations. the Restomod-Conversion is a vehicle from the last production year of the series and will be available in March in Glendale, Arizona via the auction house mecum auctioned. And clearly the GTX is one of the stars of the event and as far as we know it will even be auctioned with no reserve price. This is a relatively recent conversion that will not be complete until 2022 restauriert and was completed.

The tuned engine announces itself acoustically by means of specially manufactured Borla silencers and the builder relies on a Magnum Force 4-link suspension for the chassis. There was also a Wilwood sports brake system. The GTX is steered by means of power steering and a modern Flaming River steering column with a matching steering wheel, and of course the interior is also completely new.

You can see a lot of black / brown leather, there is a new dashboard with the Dakota Digital displays and even a small infotainment in the center console is not missing. Many details such as the Alcantara roof lining, the aluminum selector lever of the 727 automatic transmission and the new handbrake lever round off the one-off impressively.
