In addition, the original headlights of the European version were installed in the US model, which even have headlight cleaning. There were also fog lights at the front and tinted clear glass taillights in the style of the late 1990s by Startec on the E30. Nevertheless, the performance is still very respectable today, as the car hardly weighs more than 1,2 tons and already has at least 195 HP as standard. So you could still keep up with current cars on the autobahn. But in the USA, where the specimen was auctioned, strict speed limits apply anyway, and anyone who exceeds them can expect draconian fines.

Who would put such an M3 in their garage?

We think that all BMW fans who are looking for a classic that is guaranteed not to lose value would want such a specimen. In addition, you can kill two birds with one stone with the tuned oldie by getting a tuned car and a classic.
