Hennessey Performance is more excited than ever and for a reason! The company posted the days namely pictures from its sacred halls and these show that a limited Heritage Ford GT is a guest and right next to it Ford GT '66 Heritage Edition special model to park. And we think that has a reason. It would be a miracle if Hennessey didn't want to lend a hand to the super athlete. But briefly some information about the Ford GT '67 Heritage Edition (2017) special model. The optics are intended to remind of the legendary victory of the Ford GT40 Mark IV 51 years ago at the famous Le Mans 24h.

It is the direct successor to the Ford GT '66 Heritage Edition and reflects the victory of the two Americans Dan Gurney and AJ Foyt in the year 1967 again. It is painted in race red, has white stripes over the body and comes with a lot of carbon fiber applications on the body. Bonnet and doors also have white start numbers. Further details are 20-Zoll-Alufelgen (Silver satin with black wheel nuts), bright red calipers, silver mirror caps and an interior with new leather upholstery of the carbon seats with red contrasting stitching.

Also included is a sport steering wheel with red stitching, anodized paddles, red straps, plenty of aluminum trim and redesigned air intake jets. Although there is save official details from Hennessey, but the website already shows Ford GT upgrades such as high-flow air intake systems, engine management tuning, high-flow intercoolers, sports exhaust systems, twin-turbo upgrades and much more. So why not get a twin turbo 2018 GT up and running? If we get new details, there will of course be an update for this report, as always. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
