The first pictures and videos of the 2018 / 19er Shelby Super Snake based on the Ford Mustang GT have emerged. Shelby is still covered with all the basic data but some information has already been announced. The most important, the successor of the 750 PS Super Snake now scores with over 800 hp. This should go to 3,5 km / h (96 mph) in just 60 seconds and the price starts at 113.445 US dollars. The new one comes from the factory with the Ford Performance 710 PS supercharged V8, which Shelby pushes again tremendously. There is also a completely new cooling system, an aluminum tank and a heat exchanger and of course the drives are also adapted to the increased output.

A roaring performance sports exhaust that makes the acoustic difference more than just clear should not be missing on a Shelby. And as always, you can see it optically at every corner. The 2018 model gets even more aggressive aerodynamic components compared to its predecessor and especially the front with its large front splitter, the Shelby emblem and the huge bonnet make it unmistakably clear that the new King is here. The body kit includes new, wider fenders at the front and rear (widebody variant - front including gills), side skirts, a sporty rear diffuser and a spoiler lip for the tailgate.

In the wheel arches, 20 Zoll forged wheels can be ordered in different color variations and are equipped with high performance performance tires. Fittingly, a completely new chassis must not be missing and so Shelby has next to a fully adjustable version and other versions on offer. And of course, the whole load would also be brought to a standstill again and so that is consistently achieved installed Shelby a huge braking system from the House of Brembo with six-piston calipers front and four-piston calipers rear brings the Super Snake to a halt.

And there are also various changes for the interior and so the 2018 Super Snake comes with new floor mats, door sills, additional performance instruments and consecutive numbering. Everything is rounded off by the well-known stripes over the entire vehicle that simply belong on a Shelby. If we get some information, there is of course an update for this report.
