For the year 2020 Abarth has given the 595 Pista a boost. The racing jacket based on the Fiat 500 is once again a touch more agile and is equipped on the outside with new paint finishes and inside with a significantly improved infotainment system. Propulsion in the 2020 Abarth 595 Pista is ensured by the well-known 1,4 liter four-cylinder, which for example in the 2019 Abarth 595 esseesse delivers rich 180 horsepower. In the 595 Pista, the engine comes on 165 PS and provides a maximum torque of 230 Nm ready. In order to achieve the additional power Abarth changes among other things, the compression ratio of the Garret turbocharger and also changes components on the chassis. There is a rear suspension with FSD technology, and a sport brake system with ventilated 284 mm discs in the front and 240 mm discs in the rear ensures a species-appropriate deceleration.

And the new brake is also necessary because after all, the dwarf completes the intermediate sprint from 80 to 120 km / h in just 7,8 seconds and the top speed is an impressive 218 km / h. And the Italian even pulls the sting out at the push of a button. The “Sport” button installed ex works allows the torque, steering and throttle response to react even faster and, if required, the driver can switch the automated five-speed gearbox by hand using paddles on the steering wheel. And of course the Abarth ingredients are also "audible". The soundscape of the engine escapes on the 595 Pista via an active sports exhaust system with 2 tailpipes on the right and left. And as already mentioned, there are also new colors to choose from. For example, three new shades of gray are available, one of which is matt, there is a paint finish in black and new colors in blue, white, red, green and yellow are also available. And each of the paint finishes can be combined with the optional “Adrenalin” kit on request.

It uses bright green accents on the front and rear aprons, the motorsport alloy wheels and the mirror caps. In the front of the cabin, passengers sit on optional Sabalt 70 racing seats including Abarth lettering and whoever opts for the factory sports seats will receive them in a diamond pattern. There is also an Audi RS-style steering wheel with a flattened bottom section with a 12 o'clock mark and, as has been the norm recently, the info display in the instrument cluster now also features special displays with telemetry and performance data in the 595 Pista. The well-known extensive multimedia offer that the new 124 Spider also has to offer with the Uconnect system, 7 inch touchscreen, smartphone integration (Android Auto & Apple CarPlay) or the current navigation system are of course also used in the latest offshoot from Abarth.
