World premiere on the Top Marques Monaco 2019! The BRABUS 800 based on Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4MATIC + 4 door coupe (X290) with 588 kW / 800 PS. Exciting look thanks to sporty styled carbon look Aerodynamic components and high-tech forged wheels in the new BRABUS Monoblock Z "PLATINUM EDITION" Ten-spoke design in an unusual combination with 21 and 22 inches Diameter for front and rear axle: The BRABUS 800 based on the new Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 63 S 4MATIC + celebrates its world premiere at the Top Marques Monaco 2019. Of course, BRABUS also refines the interior of the four-door Fastback coupé: in the in-house saddlery, exclusive BRABUS fine leather interiors are produced in any desired color and sophisticated upholstery design. The four-liter V8 twin-turbo engine of the GT 63 S is upgraded by the BRABUS engine engineers with the sophisticated BRABUS PowerXtra B40S-800 Performance Upgrade.

The changes to the engine hardware affect the turbo system: Two newly configured BRABUS high-performance turbochargers, which in addition to a larger compressor unit also have a modified fuselage group with reinforced axial bearings, produce a maximum boost pressure of 1,6 bar. In order to recalibrate the electronic boost pressure control and to further optimize the performance without impairing stability, the maps of the electronic engine management had to be reprogrammed. To this end, extensive tests were carried out on the latest generation of stationary engine test benches. At the same time, driving tests were carried out on the race track and in traffic. The new control software is fed in via the BRABUS PowerXtra additional control unit, which is adapted to the engine electronics using plug & play technology. This results in an increase in output of 118 kW / 161 PS and an increase in torque of 100 Nm.

With 588 kW / 800 horsepower at 6 600 rpm and maximum torque of 1 000 Nm on 3 600 tours only, the four-door coupe is among the most powerful in its class. The performance speaks for itself: From a standstill, the BRABUS 800 with SPEEDSHIFT nine-speed sports transmission and 4MATIC + all-wheel drive catapults to Tempo 2,9 in just 100 seconds. Switching is done either automatically or manually via the ergonomically shaped BRABUS RACE aluminum shift paddles on the steering wheel. The maximum speed is electronically limited to 315 km / h. Despite its high performance, BRABUS offers immaculate stability even with this engine. This is documented by the world's largest independent automotive refiner with the BRABUS tuning warranty covering 3 years to 100 000 kilometers (according to BRABUS warranty conditions, as of July 2013). The unique high performance experience garnishes BRABUS with an acoustic treat: The stainless steel sports exhaust system, which is available for all GT 63 variants and also reduces performance by reducing exhaust backpressure, offers a variable sound thanks to its integrated exhaust flaps.

"Coming home" or "sports" mode

The V8 can either be driven discreetly in the quiet "coming home" mode or in the "sport" position, which elicits an extra powerful V8 sound from the engine. The BRABUS exhaust system is visually an absolute treat with its titanium / carbon tailpipes with 90 millimeter diameter. The enormous performance of the BRABUS 800 also places special demands on the aerodynamics. That's why the BRABUS designers have developed visually attractive as well as aerodynamically efficient visual carbon components. They were fine-tuned in the wind tunnel and optimized driving stability at high speeds. The precisely fitting BRABUS body components are available with either a high-gloss or matt coating. The GT's face is accentuated even more strikingly with the combination of BRABUS front spoiler and front apron attachments for the large air intakes of the bumper. In addition, the spoiler reduces the buoyancy at the front axle at high speeds, which further improves driving stability.

The rear end of the four-door is styled even sportier: The carbon diffuser insert for the rear apron frames perfectly the four tailpipes of the BRABUS sports exhaust, the titanium covers were painted black to match the outer skin of the show car for Monaco. Visible carbon fiber panels on the sides of the rear bumper accentuate the distinctive lines of the vehicle. Another important contribution to the extravagant BRABUS look is the extraordinary wheel / tire combination developed by the suspension engineers and test drivers of the Bottroper company specifically for the Mercedes-AMG GT 63. To accentuate the wedge shape of the four-door coupé, 21 inch diameter wheels are mounted in front while 22 inch wheels are used on the rear axle. On the BRABUS 800, which is celebrating its world premiere at the Top Marques Monaco 2019, this variant will be showing for the first time the new BRABUS Monoblock Z "PLATINUM EDITION" wheel design. The type designation "Z" stands for an innovative ten-spoke styling. "PLATINUM EDITION" means that these new wheels are manufactured in a high-tech forging process and thus combine lightweight with maximum strength.

Equally extraordinary are the dimensions of rims and tires: At the front 10.5Jx21 wheels with 275 / 35 ZR 21 tires are driven. On the rear axle even 12Jx22 forged wheels with high performance tires in 335 / 25 ZR 22 format are used. The optimum tires for this extraordinary combination are supplied by the BRABUS technology partners Continental, Pirelli and YOKOHAMA. Not only does the look of the BRABUS 800 benefit from attractive wheels, but the handling becomes even more agile with this king-size wheel / tire combination. An effect that can be further enhanced with the BRABUS AIRMATIC SPORT unit. The module is adapted to the air suspension in plug-and-play technology and places the four-door coupe in the two driving modes "comfort" and "sport" about 25 millimeters lower. Another specialty of BRABUS is the exclusive interior refinement. In the in-house saddlery, the finest leather and Alcantara are processed to interior fittings under the label "BRABUS fine leather", which fulfill even the most individual wishes of each customer. In color choice and upholstery designs, the variety is virtually limitless. In addition, fine wood or real carbon inlays in a variety of colors and designs can be custom made.

The BRABUS 800 premiere supercar on the Top Marques Monaco 2019 features exclusive BRABUS fine leather seats upholstered in perforated black leather and visually trimmed with white leather trim. The noble interior impresses not only by its color choice, but also by the precise white stitching. Alcantara inserts on the side bolsters optimize the lateral support during sporty driving. Stainless steel door sills with illuminated BRABUS logo, which changes its color analogously to the ambient lighting of the interior, complete the noble interior design. The high performance standard of the BRABUS Supercar is complemented by sporty cockpit features such as BRABUS door pins and aluminum pedals. The BRABUS 800 can be ordered as a complete car. Alternatively, BRABUS converts every current Mercedes GT 63 S 4MATIC + completely or in stages to this performance level on customer request.
