In January, Dodge unveiled the new generation of the popular RAM 1500. To the upcoming Chicago Auto Show 2018 has tuner Mopar now already the first modifications for the off-roader ready. As presentation vehicle they have chosen a flame red (Flame Red) Ram 1500 which has received a comprehensive tuning program. Overall, more than 200 new parts are installed and visually makes that clearly noticeable. The pickup got a lift with the 2-inch-lift-kit, which in combination with huge 35 inch off-road tires on 18-inch-beadlock rims makes for a tremendous appearance and makes the RAM look even more powerful and threatening. To ensure that the tires are covered by the body in accordance with the regulations, all-round fender flares have been developed which are set off in matt black and fastened with exposed screwed connections.

There are also additional running boards made of aluminum which are also painted in matt black. The loading area was also given the so-called adjustable “Ram Rack”, which enables large objects such as the kayak installed here to be transported without any problems. So that you can also reach the loading area, there is an additional step on the bumper at the rear that can be swiveled outwards if necessary. We are familiar with a similar function from the Nissan Titan. Concrete figures are not available, but apparently the engine has also been helped on the jumps because the 5,7 liter Hemi V8 got a cold air intake system and a stainless steel sports exhaust system with 5 inch tailpipes, which in combination certainly mobilize one or the other PS in addition.

So you can see the individuality on the outside there is on the hood a Mopar logo, black Ram emblems and various badges and a black towing hook. At the rear one installed still another trailer hitch with integrated Mopar emblem. And even the interior has been refined and so there are noble Katzkin leather with red stitching and the typical Dodge Aries head logo on the seats and the floor mats. Incidentally, all optional components come with full warranty and so no compromises have to be made in this respect.
