It has been almost 1 year since the Japanese tuner Kuhl-racing launched a body kit for the lifted version of the Nissan GT-R (R35) announced Has. And now it's finally here and the boys have to the 2020 Tokyo Auto Salon (from January 10, 2020 to January 12, 2020) presents the heavily modified GT-R to the world public. And compared to that VorFacelift we find the new version structured more clearly and less jagged. However, the 35R-GT II kit is also a clear number more subtle compared to the virtual preview that has been promised in 2019. Or is there something else? Anyway! The aerodynamic parts still have the typical Japanese chic, but somehow you leave a more consistent impression compared to the predecessor. However, the plain white paintwork of the exhibition vehicle from the motor show also played a part in this.
Widebody or "normal" body kit
Incidentally, it is a Wide body kitthat the front apron is completely replaced and widened a bit on the right and left. It comes centrally with particularly large air openings and also a front spoiler and 4 Side Wings are built in. The fenders are also widened, which is particularly noticeable in the area of the doors due to the huge air openings. There are also new side skirts with sill swords and the widenings for the rear side walls are also new. However, they do NOT show themselves with the large air openings of the pictures from 2019, but are much smaller and seamlessly integrated. With the rear wing, however, they “almost” kept their word. A fixed variant is installed, but it was a few centimeters lower as planned. On the other hand, the rear apron including the large carbon diffuser has become significantly more aggressive. The diffuser received 3 powerful fins in the center and can be seen on the right and left across the entire width of the vehicle.

There was also a small tear-off edge that rounds off the sporty rear in combination with four stovepipe-sized blue-fired tailpipes from an in-house sports exhaust system. Incidentally, the aerodynamic kit is also available without widened fenders. But even in this case, the factory aprons of the GT-R are completely replaced. The R35 from the TAS2020 also stood on 21-inch Verz Wheels alloy wheels in silver with a chromed rim base and was equipped with an Airride air suspension for violent lowering at the push of a button.
