In addition to the functionality of the front splitter, which cools the low-temperature radiators (LTRs), the outer edges have striking vertical slats. The outer surface of the fins directs the airflow around the front wheels and soothes the caster, interacting with the airflow that exits from the top LTR vents. Opened aero slats, which sit between the inner surface of the vertical slats and the front bumper, look like diving surfaces that correspond to the characteristics of the McLaren 720S GT3 racing car and the McLaren Senna GTR on the race track. Instead of being exposed, the slats are integrated into the area between the front splitter and the front bumper, with air being directed upwards and over them to create additional downforce at the front.

The door blade philosophy is based on the legendary McLaren P1 ™ and is used to great effect in the 720S. The principle remains the same on the 765LT, but the door leaf has been modified to incorporate an additional vertical profile that protrudes from the vehicle's skirt and controls the turbulent air as it exits the front wheel arch, helping to get it into the inlets in front of the rear To direct wheel arch. These inlets have also been widened and pulled out from the side panels of the body to capture additional airflow. They are used to feed the lower part of the high temperature cooler (HTR), which increases the efficiency of the cooling system without the need for greater cooling capacity.

Another novelty in this generation of McLaren Super Series road vehicles is the polycarbonate rear window in motorsport style. The material is lighter than glass and enables a unique double curvature of the rear window, which drops downwards in the middle to support the air flow under the active rear wing and to direct the cooling air through the outlets. The glazed C-pillars and the cover for the drive train are also made of polycarbonate.

A unique optional feature of the 765LT is made possible by double glazing in the rear luggage rack, which exposes the top of the drive train and brings the engine optically and acoustically "into" the interior. Literally looking over the driver's shoulder, a 765LT branded carbon fiber frame carries a pane of glass that shows the intake tract with the McLaren 'Speedmark' brand logo, executed in a dark, high-temperature-resistant powder coating. The engine is also visible from outside the vehicle through the polycarbonate rear window (unless a protective glass is required), whereby the rear view is not impaired.

The cockpit of the new 765LT is an enticing mixture of spacious interior and excellent ergonomics. The efficiency of the race track and the luxury of the super sports car are combined to create an overall ambience of cutting-edge technology and high craftsmanship in an environment defined by the driver focus. There are plenty of options for personalization, from unique exterior colors and soft leather to a world-class audio system, while customers looking to find out their own unique specifications can contact McLaren Special Operations (MSO) for an even wider choice to obtain. An embossed 765LT logo on the dashboard and a numbered LT dedication sticker underline the exclusivity of every vehicle.

Eight bespoke 'By McLaren' interior color themes have been designed to complement the adventurous nature of the 765LT. The first introduces a subtle hue throughout the lightweight Alcantara® interior, replacing the standard carbon black stitching with McLaren orange. Three themes go even further and introduce an additional Alcantara® color with a complementary seam in certain areas - including the seats and doors - on a Carbon Black Alcantara® basis. Dove Gray Alcantara® with Situs Gray embroidery, Burnt Orange Alcantara® with Carmine embroidery and Midnight Blue Alcantara® with Kingfisher Blue embroidery are available.

These four designs are each provided with a graphic laser cut in the seats, whereby McLaren Orange, Situs Gray, Carmine or Azura Blue are exposed as secondary colors, which correspond to the colored seams. Another four 'By McLaren' designs offer a luxurious alternative to Alcantara® by combining soft, carbon black leather with contrasting stitching in McLaren Orange, Situs Gray, Carmine or Kingfisher Blue. All 'By McLaren' interiors can be provided with a 12 o'clock mark on the Alcantara® steering wheel in McLaren Orange, Burnt Orange, Blue or Dove Gray at no cost to the customer.
