2020 ROWEN International Bodykit on the Toyota ALPHARD

Can you still remember the crazy Toyota ALPHARD from Japanese tuner Rowen International recall? The Japanese VW T6 was completely transformed and showed up with typical Japanese exaggeration. In the land of the rising sun you just stand on pride and glamor and the converted Alphard (identical to the Lexus LM) has impressively proved. And now the team of ROWEN International has made the lifted variant from 2018 and adapted the body kit to it. Compared to the model from 2015, the differences are only slight at first glance. From the factory there are on the model 2018 modified headlights and discreetly modified front aprons and basically has remained the huge grille.

Although this has changed slightly in shape, the result still looks good three times larger than any single-frame grill of a current Audi. Rowen now gives the model 2018 a complete one new Apron and not as on Vorfacelift only spoiler lip. The apron comes with additional LED daytime running lights (can also be used as a turn signal) and in addition the air openings are staged with additional panels. On both sides there are still indicated air intakes. In addition, Rowen installed a new bonnet with air vents on the right and left and even a central power dome is integrated into the hood. And of course, further air openings in the fender should not be missing. Here one installs two different gill species which would fit well with a super sportsman.

It continues with large side skirts, including door attachments and befitting tremendous has also changed the rear. There was a complete new rear bumper with integrated diffuser and also a central rear fog lamp in the style of a Formula 1 vehicle could not be missing. The interchangeable tail sections below the taillights are now equipped with air openings. As a highlight there was a huge roof spoiler in lofty heights. Already the variant ex works reminds us of an awning, but the version is even more powerful. For the presentation, two vehicles were rebuilt and both were equipped with quite interesting aluminum wheels and lowered violently. As far as we know the rims are also from the house of Rowen International and in the format 21 x 9 inches all around.

And if you look closely, you will also see a modified brake system with large perforated brake discs and color-coded calipers. Unfortunately there are no information available about this. The situation is different with the lowering. They realized the tuner with an adjustable Airride air suspension and finally there was also a duplex sport exhaust system with blue burnt tailpipes for the van. Considering a system performance of 306 PS of the 2.5 Hybrid (R4 gasoline engine + 2 electric motors) but in our opinion even has its right to exist. The rest of course is a matter of taste and owed much to the Japanese wishes. If we receive timely information on other changes not mentioned before, there is of course as always an update for this report.
