In addition to the sporty Toyota Supra (A90), hardly any new vehicle model has received as much attention as the current Suzuki Jimny GJ from 2018. After the presentation of the Jimny, the accessory manufacturers and tuners almost overturned and that craziest accessories for little Jimny presents. And particularly practical accessories for the off-road area are extremely trendy. However, the calls to use Jimny as a workhorse became louder and louder. And as one with a real loading area like that of the guys from KAP Suzuki have already done with the predecessor.

Factory pickup in New Zealand

And now Suzuki from New Zealand shows that the current model is perfect for a conversion. There Suzuki officially offers the Jimny with a full loading area. That is to say, such a vehicle comes with a full guarantee as well as the closed variant on the market. The loading area begins directly behind the front doors, so that the Jimny is then only a two-seater. The loading area is not huge, but at least sufficient to be able to transport bulky items. And the base model popular in New Zealand as the JX with halogen headlights, steel rims and without a touchscreen infotainment system is also unlikely to be susceptible to repairs and will do its job for a long time.

KAP Suzuki will convert the Jimny on request

If you are not based in New Zealand, you can contact the KAP Suzuki team mentioned above and have the factory-closed variant converted into a full-size pickup. The boys not only provide the small off-roader with an equally full loading space, on request there is also a complete off-road package with coarse-tread tires and a new undercarriage including a lift kit. The costs, including the new vehicle, also tend towards a VW Amarok or Nissan Navara. Is it still worth it? If we receive timely information on other tuners who turn the Jimny into a pickup, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to. Have fun watching the pictures and stay true to us!
