More looks and extra power: 2022 Audi RS US models!

According to Audi-USA, the Audi Sport department is planning for that Model year 2022 some changes to some RS vehicles in the US. This includes new RS design packages with which individual RS vehicles can be stylishly modified. With the model changes in 2022, new "RS design" packages will be introduced for the RS 5 Coupé and the Sportback, the RS 6 Avant, the RS 7 and the RS Q8. The well-known flattened sports steering wheel is now, for example, on all RS 6 Avant and RS 7 models standard and also that Dynamic Ride Control (DRC) for the RS 6 Avant and RS 7 models.

2022 RS 5 Coupe / Sportback

The RS 5 Coupé and the Sportback for 2022 come with seat belts at the front red accent, there are Floor mats with RS logo and red frame and Alcantara runs over the steering wheel, the gear lever and the center console. The Audi-exclusive bronze styling package brings black Audi rings and emblems, a carbon front spoiler, a carbon rear diffuser cover, RS carbon inlays, carbon mirror housings, the bronze seam interior package and 20-inch 5-arm peak design rims with a bronze finish and 275/30 summer tires on the RS5. And a performance-oriented one Dynamic Plus package contains the Increase of the top speed to 300 km/h, a carbon engine cover and gray brake calipers.

2022 RS 6 Avant / RS 7 model range

The RS 6 Avant and RS 7 models receive new materials such as standard carbon twill structure inlays and for the RS 7 is a Dinamica headliner available. Dynamic Ride Control (DRC) is now also available here. Also new for 2022 is a black 22-inch wheel, which is available in carbon and black-look packages, as well as the option to order a 22-inch titanium wheel. There is also a new “RS-Design” package with black seat belts with contrasting stripes in red or gray, floor mats with “RS” logo and contrasting stitching, center console and gear lever in Alcantara with contrasting stitching and a flattened Alcantara steering wheel with contrasting stitching is also included .

2022RS Q8

And the Audi RS Q8 will also receive several upgrades for the 2022 model year. The Audi Adaptive Cruise Assist with traffic jam assist and Audi Active Lane Assist is now standard. These are the Road Sign recognition and Intersection Assistance available in the Executive Package. A new “RS-Design” package is available in red or gray and includes the following equipment features: black seat belts with contrasting edge, floor mats with “RS” logo and contrasting stitching, center console and gear lever in Alcantara with contrasting stitching and a Alcantara steering wheel with contrasting stitching.

Model series 2022 R8

The 2022 R8 Performance RWD receives a power increase of 540 PS 570 PS and a torque increase of 540 Nm 550 NM. Two new packages are now available for the RWD models - the Sport exhaust package and Dynamic package. The exhaust package includes a steering wheel with four buttons including performance modes and Sport exhaust system with black tailpipes. The Dynamic package includes a Ceramic brake system front and rear, a dynamic 20-inch, 5-twin-spoke design wheel with a titanium finish and Racing bucket seats with nappa leather cover.
